When we are branching out to in-database processing, the database is the engine, and as such we have to generate code that will run within the database. In essence, it is still true that the diagram is the code, because any changes you want to make, you need to make in the diagram. With DBClarity you can see the SQL code and when you deploy the project, it executes a script to create or update the stored procedures in your database. Once in the database, you can edit these and update them without using DBClarity, but the idea is that you’d return to the product, update the diagram and redeploy from, thus ensuring that the point of truth is maintained in DBClarity. One of the difference is that PL/SQL scripts don't need to be separated by '/' in Toad, and I can still run them without error. Is there any feature in SQL Developer to mimic this, I mean that I don't need to put / between scripts.
